The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions into the community.

SASSA will be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it's alarmed concerning the superior range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area every day. The assistance issue made for intervention activities a substantial influx of possible beneficiaries, that makes it hard to the office to attend to all people more info who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more assets to allow the servicing of all customers and increase access to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
